You can have as much crime as your willing to put up with.

Am I alone in thinking the law or more importantly our politicians and Judges are letting the people down when it comes to applying and enforcing the Law? They are making more and more laws and not enforcing them except when they feel like it. AND they vary rarely repeal old laws....

Then there are the vocal few who's political agenda is anyone's guess, Personally I think there political agendas are what ever gets them what they want rather than what the people who voted for them want.

If a person(s) is found to be tresspassing and otherwise breaking the law such as breaking and entering should they have full protection of the law when they were in the act of breaking it?

Should they be able to sue the police or home owner (using legal aid??)  because they hurt themselves (by accident) or because they got hurt resisting lawful detention/arrest?

What about the police who are on the receiving end of these law suits, do the politicians protect them or do they do what is politically expedient, i.e. leaving our police to defend themselves. There is the case of one burgler, when caught, resisting arrest and his jacket was damaged in the struggle; He sued using legal aid and the police had to pay for his jacket plus legal fee's??

1/  If you are breaking the law you should have no legal rights to sue anybody unless excessive and provable force was used

2/  The law breaker should have no say in the punishment or legal framework

3/  If you are going to break the law, you should be made to take full responsibility

4/  The victim of any crime should be given due care, NOT the criminal

4/  If the crime is commited by a non citizen they should be deported, period. This is the case in many countries around the World

5/  If you want common sense to prevail and to reduce crime, USE your vote
