Europe and the US together with many other countries are experiencing some very difficult times both politically and economically. We have Greece and Portugal on the verge of bankruptcy.
Indeed the EU had to step in with a one Trillion US$ aid package...
Many people do not vote and some even refuse to vote saying "What's the point, there all the same" Well of course there all the same, there is not enough people using there vote to make a difference.
Can you imagine if the people made there voices heard and demanded answers together with holding there politicians responsible both for what they do (in our name) and what they don't do, especially when they fail to deliver on their campaign promises?
Gordon Brown, when he was Chancellor of the Exchequer sold off half of our Gold Reserves below market value (less than 300 US$ per ounce). Gold is now valued around 1,650 US$ an ounce. Would we have a budget deficit if GB had been forced to show some fiscal responsibility?

Political Correctness and Idealism, would they exist if we used our vote? Government's listen more to the criminal element and enforce there 'Human Rights' but do little to protect the law abiding citizens, WHY? Would it be that way if we ALL used our (Right to) Vote??
"We can have as much crime as we are willing to put up with" I think that says it all...

10's of millions of people died in two World Wars to give us our freedom, Freedom to vote and have a say in how we are governed.
Unfortunately very few people will bother to vote, BUT they will complain, Big time. No Vote, No Voice...
Think about that the next time you drive down the motorway with the new GPS controlled road tolls (not long now). You can be sure the road fund license that pay for our roads will not be reduced, we will still have to renew our Tax Discs... As for those Camera's...
